Romantic & Modern Donegal Wedding by Photography By Brideen
Today’s wedding, shot by Photography by Brideen, is an awesome mix of cool modern elements with classically pretty details. Ultra hip white converse are combined with beautiful feather boutonnieres, and elegant sage green bridesmaids arrive in a vintage Volkswagen van; Darren and Claire really put a lot of thought and detail into their day! Make sure to check out the vintage postcards that decorate the venue tables; Claire’s aunt (who decorated the venue for them) searched through lots of charity shops to find just the right postcards to add a sweet touch to the tables, what a great idea.
On top of all the gorgeous details, Brideen has captured the wonderful joyful feelings that surrounded their day. That shot of the Claire’s Dad shaking Darren’s hand in the church is incredibly sweet, what a touching moment! Thanks so much Brideen for sharing your gorgeous work.

Flower Friday – White, Pink & Peach Wedding Flowers

White, pink and peach are such classic wedding colours, and I never get tired of their endless combinations through different flower types and arrangements. This bride has chosen elegantly simply arrangements that seem to almost glow in the sunlight. I love that they’ve been placed in eclectic, tarnished holders that add a distinctly vintage feel to the affair. I also adore that ruffled cake, adorned with simple peach rosebuds, it’s so dreamy in an understated and graceful way!

Mood Board – Spring Blossom
Mood boards can be useful tools to help you put together your unique vision for your wedding day. When I was getting married I cut out images from all kinds of magazines and stuck them in a journal, pulling together different elements to help me figure out what overall style I wanted for the day.
It’s easy to start your own mood board, just get out your scissors and some old magazines and pin up the images you love, or paste them into a scrapbook. They don’t have to be wedding related images, just anything you like and that inspires you. Sites like Pinterest make it easy for you to do this online, or just create your own in Photoshop!
