Wedding Anniversary – Celebrating Two Years Together

Irish Wedding 1

It’s hard to believe that two whole years have passed since Daniel & I got married, I’ve no idea where the time went!  This day two years ago we were having the time of our lives with our family and friends, celebrating a wonderful wedding day with the people we love.  We got to work with some excellent vendors who helped us create a day we remember very fondly.

Our photographer on the day was Shane O’Neill, he did an amazing job of capturing everything for us and we both adore the results.  I thought today would be a good day to share a few shots here on Sparkle & Swish, I hope you’ll like them!

I can’t say that being married has changed our lives in any enormous way, things are pretty much the same as they were before we tied the knot.  But in small, subtle ways we’ve noticed, and enjoyed, the change.  Things like referring to one another as husband and wife, or sharing the same surname, are an odd source of joy and adventure.  Wearing a wedding ring is a constant reminder of the bond we share, it’s a small change but felt in a wonderfully large and personal way.

When I was younger I found it hard to imagine myself finding someone who would love and treasure me as I loved and treasured them, who would become both my family and my best friend.  Now it’s impossible to imagine my life lived any other way.  I wish the same to all of you brides to be who visit this blog for wedding inspiration, may you have many happy moments, discoveries and years together with your best friends :)
